Mammoplasty

Mammoplasty is a plastic surgical procedure aimed at correcting the shape, size, and position of the breasts while preserving the body’s natural proportions and ensuring functional safety.
The procedure may be performed for both aesthetic and medical indications, contributing to a woman’s physical comfort, self-confidence, and overall aesthetic harmony.
At Dashtoyan Medical Center, mammoplasty is performed following a clearly defined professional approach, without deviation from the surgeon’s individual “signature,” which is based on achieving natural results and prioritizing patient safety.

Who is mammoplasty recommended for?

Mammoplasty may be indicated in cases of:

  • breast ptosis after pregnancy and childbirth

  • changes in shape and volume following significant weight loss

  • loss of firmness due to age-related changes

  • pronounced asymmetry or disproportion in breast size

  • physical discomfort or psychological dissatisfaction

There are no strict age limitations. Each case is assessed individually, taking into account anatomical characteristics, general health status, and patient expectations.

Types of mammoplasty

Depending on breast anatomy and the desired outcome, Dashtoyan Medical Center offers the following types of mammoplasty:

  • breast augmentation

  • breast reduction

  • breast lift (mastopexy)

  • breast augmentation combined with a lift

  • breast lift with or without implants

The type of procedure is determined during a medical consultation after thorough evaluation.

Surgical approach

Prior to surgery, a medical consultation is conducted, during which:

  • breast anatomy and skin quality are assessed

  • patient expectations and potential limitations are discussed

  • the safest and most appropriate surgical method is selected

  • an individualized surgical plan is developed to ensure predictable results

At Dashtoyan Medical Center, excessively large implants or solutions leading to unnatural outcomes are not used.
If the expected result may cause functional issues or aesthetic imbalance, the surgeon, based on professional responsibility, does not recommend such intervention.
