1. Professional Dental Hygiene

The first and most essential stage of treatment, aimed at restoring gum health and reducing inflammation.

Includes:

  • Ultrasonic scaling for removal of dental calculus and deposits
  • AirFlow cleaning using the KaVo Prophyflex system, which effectively removes dental plaque, surface discoloration, and provides smooth, clean tooth surfaces

This stage helps prevent gum inflammation and creates a healthy foundation for further treatment.

2.Conservative (non-surgical) periodontal treatment using Vector Paro Pro (DÜRR DENTAL) and Prophyflex Perio (KaVo) systems.

Treatment with the Vector Paro Pro system is considered one of the safest and most effective methods worldwide for managing inflammation inside periodontal pockets.

This method is indicated for early and moderate stages of periodontal disease.

3. Closed Curettage of Periodontal Pockets

Performed when inflammation is localized within periodontal pockets and surgical intervention is not required.

  • Removal of subgingival calculus, inflamed tissues, and bacterial deposits
  • Reduction of pocket depth
  • Decreased inflammation and improved gum firmness and health

 

4. Open Curettage of Periodontal Pockets (Surgical)

Used in cases of deep periodontal pockets where closed curettage is insufficient.

Through a surgical approach, the inflamed gum tissue is gently opened, allowing thorough cleaning and treatment of root surfaces.

Ensures:

  • Complete removal of inflammatory tissue
  • Significant reduction of periodontal pocket depth
  • Restoration of healthy surrounding tissues

 

5. Treatment of Gingival Recessions (Flap Surgery)

Gingival recessions may cause:

  • Tooth sensitivity
  • Aesthetic concerns
  • Exposure of root surfaces
